I know that capturing special moments can feel like a big decision, so I’ve designed my process to be as straightforward and transparent as possible. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of what to expect when you book a session with me:
1. Explore the Website and Choose Your Session Type
It all starts on my website, where I’ve organized everything by session type so you can easily find the right fit for you. Each session option includes details on what’s included, so you’ll know exactly what to expect. Once you’ve chosen your session type, you can select “Book Now,” which will take you directly to my calendar to view available dates and times.
2. Select Your Date and Time
You’ll be able to see all my open dates and times on the calendar. My studio is based in Mount Juliet, and I offer outdoor sessions around Nashville from Thursday through Sunday. Studio sessions are available on Saturdays and Sundays. Sometimes, I can accommodate weekday sessions for certain requests—just reach out to discuss!
3. Complete Your Booking
Once you select your date, you’ll fill out your information and place a credit card on file. After I receive your request, I’ll review it and confirm availability. If everything looks good, I’ll approve your booking and charge the retainer, which is 50% of the total session fee.
The remaining balance can be paid on the day of your session using the same card, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or cash (my preferred option).
4. The Photo Session: Capture Your Moments
On the day of your session, simply arrive ready to enjoy the experience! Whether we’re at an outdoor location around Nashville or in my Mount Juliet studio, my goal is to create a relaxed environment where you can feel at ease.
5. View Your Unedited Gallery
Within 48 hours of your session, I’ll upload your unedited photos to a private online gallery and email the link to you. This gallery allows you to review your photos and make your selections within five days.
6. Select Your Photos and Optional Add-Ons
The number of images included in your package will be specified in your booking. If you’d like additional photos beyond what’s included, they’re available for $8 per image. For those who want all the unedited images from the session, they’re available for a flat rate of $80.
Once you’ve made your selections, send them back to me. I’ll begin the editing process, which usually takes one to two weeks.
7. Final Delivery: Download Your Edited Photos
When your selected photos are fully edited, I’ll email you with a link to your final gallery. In your gallery, you’ll find a photo release that grants you the rights to make prints and copies of your photos.
Your gallery will be available for 30 days, so be sure to download your images within that timeframe. If you need the gallery re-uploaded after it expires, there’s a $15 fee for this service.
8. Ordering Prints
If you’d like high-quality prints, you can order directly through your gallery. Alternatively, you’re welcome to take your digital images to any printing service to create beautiful prints, albums, or gifts.
