Frequently Asked Questions for Main Packages

What forms of payment do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex for the retainer. The rest of the session can be paid for with cash or card. A processing fee may be applied when using a credit card. 

Do I receive a release form to print the photos?

Yes the release will be in your gallery with your images. Make sure you keep that as well just in case you go to make prints and may need it.

Do you shoot events such as birthday parties, weddings, & baptisms?

At the moment I currently do not shoot any events.

What props do you have?

Props are always varying. I have a huge range of newborn props consisting of, headbands, outfits, wraps & blankets.You can always look on here or on Facebook to get an idea and just email me to so we can coordinate props. The sessions that I would recommend for props are, 1st birthdays, newborns & milestones. Family sessions I like to keep simple. Maternity sessions the props you bring, baby clothes, shoes, animals, sign, and sonogram are good. It will personalize the session so much more.

Does my retainer go towards the cost of my shoot?

Your paying to hold your spot so it’s your very own and nobody else’s, they are also non refundable and serves as your cancellation fee! Whatever time you book is the exact time your session will begin. So I do ask all of my appointments to arrive at least 15 minutes early. Why? Because, what if you hit some traffic, or your child has a dirty face, or everyone needs to change. Being early will make sure you get your full session time after all you are paying to have great photos! Yes it does go towards your amount due.

When will my photos be ready?

Your photos are posted the day of your session, sometimes the next morning. You have 7 days to pick out your images for editing. Editing time is no more than a week so plan accordingly. 

 

What is your cancellation/reschedule policy?

f you cancel less than 72 hours of your session you will forfeit your retainer and will need to start the booking process all over again in addition to paying a new retainer fee.

If you cancel less than 24 hours of your session you will be charged the full session price.

*If you do not call and do not show up for your appointment you will be charged the full session amount.

If you need to reschedule you may do so if it’s 4 calendar days before your session. Please understand during busy holidays/special minis a reschedule may not be an option due to availability. Less than a 24 hour reschedule there is a fee of $50. If you need to reschedule due to children being uncooperative there will be a charge at my discretion depending on the type of shoot. You have one reschedule allowed.

*During holiday seasons (Christmas, Fall, New Years, Easter/Spring, Valentine’s & Mother’s Day) If you cancel for any reason your retainer is forfeited. I will try my best to reschedule you but sometimes that may not be possible. Retainers are non transferable during these sessions as well**

What are your hours of operation?

Thursday’s & Friday’s 10am-7pm, Saturday and Sunday’s 9am – 7pm

Will you come to my house and do a session?

I do in-home sessions for lifestyle newborn sessions and maternity milk baths. I do not do hospital newborn sessions at the moment.

Can I purchase more images?

Of course! They are $5 per image after you choose the amount that comes with your package. 

Do you retouch the photos?

I edit the images and that includes color correction, cropping, and slight skin smoothing. There is a difference in editing and retouching. Please refer to the retouching page if there are other questions about facial blemishes among other things.

Is it additional for a newborn/1st birthday if I have twins?

The only extra charge would be for an additional cake, $25.

What if I am late?

If you are more than 10 minutes late to your session there is an additional $50 late fee. I will do my best with your shoot with the time you have remaining. During the busy season if you are late I may not be able to take you at all. So please make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes early to your session.

What do we do about inclement weather?

I am constantly checking the weather on shoot days. I will notify you the day before or the day of your shoot an update on if we are still good to go. In the event it does rain and we cannot do your session we will reschedule to another day. With that being said I need to get you rescheduled to a day within 5 days. Please note: I do not shoot any session if it’s 40 degrees and below to protect my equipment. I do not shoot in the rain. ​

What happens if my gallery expired?

You will be given access again after you pay the $15 fee to reactivate the gallery

Where do you shoot?

When booking an appointment I do have a list of options that you can choose from. If you are unsure and need ideas. I am always up for new locations. Just message me if you do not see a location on the list.

Newborn Pricing

This session is perfect for someone who doesn’t need a full newborn session. My all wrapped up sessions is a session where your baby is wrapped up for the entire 45 minutes. This session also includes family shots.

This package is for the newborn by itself.

This package includes both the newborn and family shots. 

This session is for newborn shots, family shots & sibling shots.
